Yes, all new hires are first vetted with a background check. They are required to submit a Certificate of Conduct as part of this process.
Our employees are varied in age: our youngest eager colleague is 21 years old, while our most senior, dyed-in-the-wool colleague is 59 years old.
It depends on the function. For project leaders, there is a non-binding introduction in which the project and requirements are discussed. For so-called 'extra pairs of hands' for project support, no introductory meetings take place.
