It's official: Reuzado has reached PSO level 3!
Corporate Social Responsibility is a nice term, but what does it actually mean? At Reuzado, this topic has been on the agenda since its founding. It takes various forms, including working with people distanced from the labor market. The independent PSO quality mark determines how far companies have progressed in this area. Reuzado recently achieved the highest level: Step 3.
PSO stands for Performance Ladder for Social Entrepreneurship and is a scientifically based quality mark from TNO. It provides insight into the extent to which organizations engage in social entrepreneurship, with four performance levels (from aspirant up to step 3), focused on the labor participation of vulnerable groups in the labor market. Reuzado has been working for years with local organizations such as Paswerk and Pasmatch. Recently, an official auditor conducted an independent assessment to determine Reuzado's current PSO performance level. The auditor not only looks at the percentage of employees distanced from the labor market, but also sets qualitative requirements: the auditor checks whether the organization treats employees with care. The result is that Reuzado has achieved the highest attainable step (3). We are proud of this. But we also realize that it should not actually be an achievement, but the normal course of business. So that everyone has equal opportunities for a solid job.
PSO 30+
Although Reuzado has the highest PSO classification, there is one final step: the PSO-30+. This standard was specifically created for Article 2.82 of the Public Procurement Act and guarantees that at least 30% of our employees are disabled or disadvantaged.
There are increasingly more public and private organizations that specifically put out tenders looking for a contract partner that engages in social entrepreneurship to a very high degree. A PSO 30+ certificate demonstrates this. We stand 100% behind this social development, so we're going all out for the PSO30+! To be continued…
