Hardware buyout

Do you have IT equipment that is no longer in use? Don’t let it gather dust in storage. At Reuzado, we offer hardware buyout services and ensure secure, responsible, and profitable disposal. A smart move — your unused equipment is often worth more than you think.

Whether you're dealing with a few devices or a complete IT environment, we handle everything for you. From certified data destruction to logistics and reporting, we take care of the entire process and guarantee maximum value with minimal effort.

How does hardware buyout work at Reuzado?

1. Registration and valuation

Send us an overview of the devices you want to offload, including quantities and specifications. Based on this, we provide a non-binding estimate of both potential earnings and any costs involved.

2. Pickup and logistics

Our own drivers collect the hardware from your location. Vehicles are equipped with cameras, track & trace, and secure storage. If needed, we assist with disassembly or count the equipment on-site together.

3. Registration and processing

At our secure facility, all equipment is registered, weighed, and assigned a unique tracking number. You can follow the process live through our Circu-IT client portal.

4. Data destruction and inspection

Devices with data storage are wiped using Blancco software or physically destroyed. Each device is then inspected by hand. Equipment suitable for reuse is prepared for resale, while other parts are responsibly recycled.

5. Reporting and payment

You receive detailed inventory lists, data destruction certificates, environmental reports, and where applicable, a revenue summary. All documentation is available in your Circu-IT account.

What type of hardware do we buy out?

  • Laptops, desktops, and thin clients
  • Servers, storage systems, and SAN solutions
  • Switches, routers, firewalls, and access points
  • Monitors, docking stations, and accessories
  • Mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets

We also dismantle and clear out entire workstations or data centers if needed.

Secure data destruction and sustainable processing after buyout

Once your old hardware arrives at our facility, we ensure that all sensitive data is completely and verifiably removed, and that every item is processed sustainably. The entire process is carried out under strict protocols and certified standards, guaranteeing both data security and environmentally responsible reuse.

Certified data destruction

Data carriers such as hard drives, SSDs, tapes, or smartphones are immediately separated and stored in a secure area. Only certified and authorized personnel have access. Depending on the situation, data is:

  • Wiped using Blancco software, the global standard for secure data erasure. Ideal for devices intended for reuse.
  • Physically destroyed using a DIN 66399 H5 shredder, when wiping is not possible or maximum assurance is required.

You receive certificates for each step via our Circu-IT portal, including serial numbers and processing details. This ensures full GDPR compliance and meets all audit standards.

Technical inspection and reuse

After data destruction, all devices undergo visual and technical assessment. If a device is suitable for reuse, we ensure it is fully functional and clean for its next purpose. Components such as SSDs, RAM, displays, or power supplies are tested and repurposed when possible.

Reuzado operates according to the EN 50614 standard for the reuse of electronic equipment. This guarantees high-quality processing and optimal reuse of valuable components.

Sustainable recycling of remaining materials

Devices or components that cannot be reused are dismantled and handed over to certified end processors. Valuable raw materials such as metals, plastics, and glass are recovered. This step follows WEEELABEX guidelines, ensuring compliance with the strictest environmental standards in Europe.

Through Circu-IT, you receive environmental reports and CO₂ insights showing your contribution to e-waste reduction and circular IT.
