Storage media are either software-deleted or physically destroyed - depending on your choice. You always receive an official data destruction certificate.
5. Reporting and proof
Afterwards, you receive a clear report, including serial numbers of the destroyed storage media and processed devices.

For this service, we use Blancco - an internationally recognised standard in data erasure. Blancco meets strict requirements and is recommended by NATO, the AIVD, ANSSI and TÜV, among others.

Physical destruction of storage media
Is de laptop beschadigd, verouderd of bevat hij gevoelige informatie die absoluut niet mag uitlekken? Dan kiezen we voor fysieke vernietiging van de opslagdrager. De interne harde schijf of SSD wordt in dat geval volledig onbruikbaar gemaakt met behulp van een industriële shredder, die het opslagmedium vermaalt tot kleine, onleesbare fragmenten.
This method is carried out in our high-security processing facility, but if required, we can also carry out the physical destruction on-site at the customer's premises - for organisations with high privacy requirements or specific compliance obligations, for example. Of course, you will also receive a certificate of destruction in this case as well, so you have full control and proof of data security.

Handling end-of-life laptops responsibly
Not every laptop needs to be destroyed immediately. Many devices are still technically sound and can be given a second life. We assess each laptop for reusability. Suitable examples are cleaned and prepared for reuse, for example in educational projects.
Is re-use not possible? Then the device is processed according to WEEELABEX guidelines. Valuable materials are recovered and harmful substances are disposed of responsibly.
