How does data destruction work?

1. Register your equipment

Registration is easy via email or phone. Together we'll discuss which data carriers you want destroyed and how you'd like this done.

2. On-site destruction or collection

Depending on your preference, we either visit your location to perform the destruction or collect the equipment for processing. For larger quantities, we offer secure transportation.

3. Registration and processing

All data carriers are carefully registered. Working hard drives, SSDs or tapes are separated and destroyed according to protocol.

4. Physical or software-based destruction

Depending on the device type and your wishes, we either physically destroy the data carriers using industrial shredders or erase the data with certified data wipe software.

5. Certificate and report

After completion, you receive an official certificate of destruction including serial numbers, method and date. This document is suitable for your internal records or external audits.

On-site destruction

We come to your location with our mobile destruction unit. Our specialists remove the data carriers from your systems and destroy them on site while you supervise the process. Physical media such as hard drives or SSDs are shredded on the spot, making the data unrecoverable. This approach is ideal for organisations that want full control and prefer not to transport sensitive equipment.

Destruction at our secure facility

Prefer to outsource the entire process? We collect your data carriers and destroy them at our high-security facility. The devices are dismantled with care and destroyed using industrial-grade shredders. This method is also fully certified and transparent. You receive detailed documentation and official destruction certificates.

Certified software-based data destruction

In some cases, physical destruction is not necessary or desirable. For example, when the device is still relatively new and you wish to reuse or resell it. In such cases, we can safely and thoroughly erase your data using specialised certified software. All data is overwritten multiple times, and the device is restored to factory settings. You will also receive a certificate proving the data was securely wiped.

Sustainable processing of destroyed media and IT equipment

Even after destruction, we keep a tidy overview. We take all destroyed data carriers away for processing according to the applicable environmental standards. Is the data storage still in laptops, servers or other equipment? Then we safely remove these components from the systems before destroying them.
